Postember?
Sep. 3rd, 2019 09:50 pmI came across a blogger that wanted to write a daily blog post for the whole of September to get back in the blogging habit. And seeing as my last post was in January, why not attempt a postember myself, even if I start a little bit late.
So, since last post: I've been writing, I visited Skara to catalogue their medieval writing related artefacts (It took a week, unfortunately co-inciding with the crane dance (25,000 cranes!) at the nearby lake. Unfortunately, since it is too far for a walk, and taking a regional bus would be too time consuming. It's too far from home to do a day trip, but maybe I can do a weekend trip next year, or after I've finished the PhD?), I taught the artefact interpretation course (for want of better description) for the second time and it is true that it does get better with practice. I also did some lab work in Copenhagen, including analysing the samples from the medieval archive of St Clare Nunnery in Roskilde. That bit is only partly done, mostly because there are so. many. samples. That work is extracurricular, but hopefully I can argue to get time in lieu.
